Introduction
SirPepperPot's Community Toolkit is a standalone community modding layer for For The King II. It gives C# mod authors one owner-aware runtime API instead of requiring every mod to patch the same FTK2 systems.
| Component | Purpose |
|---|---|
FTK2.ModAPI |
BepInEx runtime plugin and public contracts |
FTK2.ModAPI.SDK |
Reference project for consumer builds |
FTK2.ModAPI.ExampleMod |
Canonical public examples and optional runtime-validation harness |
The Toolkit does not require EOR. A consumer declares its own stable mod ID, receives an IModContext, and uses owner-scoped services for events, logging, localization, items, and abilities.
Confidence labels
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Runtime proven | Passed an observed test in the supported FTK2 runtime. |
| Supported | Public API exists with appropriate verification. |
| Partially tested | Specific paths passed, but the API intentionally avoids a blanket capability promise. |
| Planned | Future work; do not ship a dependency on it. |
| Unsupported / unverified | No current public guarantee. |
Custom abilities moved to Runtime proven in 0.5.9. New custom status, passive, and trait definitions remain planned for approximately 0.6.x.
