Scaling and difficulty
EOR changes difficulty through several independent systems rather than a single global multiplier. Campaign mutators affect a whole run; encounter modifiers affect one battle; Legendary Contracts raise target and reward tiers; Revenge enemies grow through persistent traits; and equipment tiers broaden player power. These systems can overlap, so enable mutators deliberately when learning the overhaul.
